About the Author
Born in El Salvador, I have dedicated my life to education, writing, and the arts. From an early age, I developed a deep love for literature, which led me to pursue a career as a teacher. For years, I taught literature in various high school institutions, guiding my students in discovering the power of words.
In addition to teaching, theater has been an essential part of my life. During my university years, I was an actor and later a theater director. With a strong conviction that art has the power to transform lives, I founded a theater group at Elim Church, where I combined faith with artistic expression to inspire others.
More than 25 years ago, I immigrated to the United States in search of new opportunities—a journey that led me to face unexpected challenges and experiences that profoundly shaped my life. In Boston and Texas, I continued my teaching career, working as a Spanish teacher in high school, and more recently, at River Oaks Baptist School, where since 2021, I have found a place where my vocation and passion for teaching fully flourish.
Writing has always been my refuge and my way of expressing the deepest emotions of the soul. I have collaborated with Christian magazines and written poetry, but this book is, without a doubt, one of the most personal and significant projects of my life. It was born from a true story of love, loss, and unwavering faith. Through its pages, I share the lessons learned in the midst of adversity, hoping to inspire those facing difficult times to see life through the eyes of faith.
I currently reside in Texas with my family, enjoying teaching, writing, and the opportunity to continue growing both personally and spiritually.
About Us
At NedVision, we are committed to supporting cancer patients throughout their recovery process. Our goal is to provide comfort and encouragement during chemotherapy treatments by offering small yet meaningful gestures. These include services such as pedicures, manicures, donating wigs, delivering flowers, and providing small gifts like meals, vitamins, and other essentials. Our ultimate objective is to help patients focus on their recovery while alleviating some of the burdens that come with the treatment process.
Beyond material support, we strive to uplift spirits through devotionals, inspirational music, scripture, and the distribution of our book to those facing these challenges. We do not provide direct financial assistance, offer advice on alternative treatments, or influence any medical decisions that should be made solely by the patient and their healthcare team. Instead, we aim to be a source of emotional and practical support for families who reach out to us.
We also believe in the power of shared experiences. Our organization serves as a connection point for patients who have gone through similar journeys and wish to provide encouragement to others. We listen to each patient’s story, carefully reviewing each case before sharing it on our platform to ensure sensitivity and respect.
As a legally established organization based in Houston, Texas, all donations made to NedVision are tax-deductible. Moving forward, we will set specific goals to assist families in need in various ways, always striving to bring hope and relief to those undergoing treatment.

At NED: Faith Beyond Adversity, our mission is to empower women by providing knowledge, resources, and support to prevent, detect, and overcome breast and gynecological cancers. We raise awareness through education, debunk myths, and promote healthy lifestyles while funding lifesaving research, screenings, and treatment programs to improve outcomes. We build a supportive community for women to share stories and access resources, and we advocate for policies that make cancer prevention and care accessible to all. Through education, compassion, and action, we turn adversity into hope, creating a future where no woman faces cancer alone. Together, we make a difference—one life at a time.
